1. Association for the protection of animals: who are you?

My name is Florian Chavignaud, I am 19 years old I am the President-Founder of Pet’s Rescue France, I created theassociation for the protection of animals at just 17 years old. Pet’s Rescue France is therefore a “New Generation” animal protection association, we take care of all types of animals without distinction of breed, state of health or even living conditions, for us, all animals have the right to ‘have a good life in the best conditions!

2. Why did you found Pet Rescue France?

I founded Pet’s Rescue France because I witnessed mistreatment of a cat, unfortunately, no association in my department (Creuse) wanted to travel, but above all, there were not many associations and they were completely overwhelmed. So I got in touch with the Brigitte Bardot Foundation, which I didn’t know at all. Before witnessing this mistreatment, I was unaware of animal misery as well as mistreatment. The Foundation then deployed an investigator on site. So I decided to become a Foundation Delegate, and after reflecting on the lack of association, I decided to take action and create Pet’s Rescue France.

3. What does your association do on a daily basis?

Pet’s Rescue France, takes care of several actions:

  • Recovery of animals at the request of the owners;
  • Recovery of found or stray animals;

  • Recovery of animals at the request of official service (curatorship, guardianship, police, firefighter, lessor …);

  • Investigations following a report for suspicion of mistreatment, negligence …

  • Organize rescues of hens before they leave for the slaughterhouse;

  • Organize sterilization campaigns with town halls and large foundations (30 Million D’amis, Brigitte Bardot …);

  • Raise public awareness of the animal cause.

4. What animals are you saving?

We save all types of animals, regardless of race, sex, state of health or history …

5. Have you always had a sensitivity for the animal cause?

As explained above, I had no knowledge of animal misery, I have always loved animals, and was sensitive to the fate that was reserved for them, I wanted to “resuscitate” dead animals on the side of the roads.

6. How many animals have you saved since the creation of your association?

How many animals have you saved since the creation of your association?

  • 1 Horse,
  • 2 Donkeys,

  • 20 Guinea pigs,

  • 2 Goats,

  • 20 Dogs,

  • 130 Cats.

7. How is your association different from others?

I will not say that it is different because any association works differently, we try to provide quick, clear and precise answers, we try to dust off animal protection by offering more transparency in our actions.

8. How can our readers help your association?

Your readers can help us in different ways, financial or free donations, material donation, a donation of time (volunteering), becoming a Host Family or adopting one of our protégés, we really have a lot of ways to support ourselves on sos- animals-23.fr, our website.

9. A word to pass on the abandonment or mistreatment of animals?

We really need a stricter law to be created but above all to APPLY!

10. You recently received a donation of kibble thanks to our 1 order = 1 meal program, what does that mean to you?

We would like to thank Zoomalia very much for their donations and their action in favor of the animal cause, which once again shows that companies can carry out projects in cooperation with associations!

In summary ! If Pet’s Rescue France has caught your attention, join this beautiful association for the protection of animals who works every day to save endangered animals and allow them to find a loving and caring family. And as a reminder, each order you place on our site offers a meal to an animal protection association or an animal refuge, a donation of dry food for dogs or cats widely welcome within associative structures. Mutual aid and sharing are values that the Zoomalia team gives to their hearts content for animal welfare and all those who really love animals!
